05/02/2008   Losses start again on the Irish route

Policyholders are warned to be aware that postal losses sent between Ireland and UK seeem to be on the increase again.

In the 2006 and to a lesser extent 2007 there was a spate of losses suffered by the trade, however we understand that a culprit was apprehended and the losses reduced back to the normal levels experienced on this route. In the last month we have experienced a sudden increase in the number of incidents again. We are unable to identify any particular trend here at this stage. As soon as we know more we willl post more notices to our website news page. Meanwhile policyholders should be mindful of this prolem
